ExpanDrive is another excellent app that uses MacFUSE. I use ExpanDrive to connect to my MediaTemple (gs) GridServer. Instant File Server. Works Excellent!

I learned of ExpanDrive through John Grubers post at Daring Fireball.

ExpanDrive: Ridiculously simple SFTP and FTP drive access on your Mac.

“ExpanDrive gives you perfectly transparent access to open, edit, and save files with your favorite programs, even when those files are half a world away. Transparent means that you don’t even notice you’re operating on a remote server—files act like they’re on an USB drive you plugged directly into your own computer.”

Super-Clean Screenshots

“To get Super-Clean-Screenshots on your mac hold down the Command, Shift, and 4 keys, then press the Spacebar. Instead of a cross-hair cursor, a small camera icon appears. When you move this camera icon over the element you’d like to capture, that element is highlighted. Click your mouse or trackpad, and you’ve captured a screenshot of just that element — no further cleanup required.” – Apple

Espresso

Espresso. Time for something new in web development.

I got an email from Jan at MacRabbit today and I’m stoked to announce that I’ve been accepted into the Espresso testing group! MacRabbit makes the best CSS editor ever, CSSEdit, so I can only imagine how great Espresso is going to be. Espresso isn’t going to be a full blown and bloated solution to development, rather it will focus on allowing the community to develop Sugar with it’s SugarDevelopmentKit. Freedom to extend is always good.
